OUR INNOVATIVE TREATMENTS

  • ENDOSCOPIC EAR SURGERY (EES)

Endoscopic ear surgery (EES) is a new minimally invasive technique to treat diseases of external and middle ear. It differs from traditional ear surgery in that surgeons access the middle ear through the ear canal rather than through an incision behind the ear. In some cases, endoscopic ear surgery may result in a less invasive operation that can be performed entirely through the ear canal. This technique is used to treat tympanic membrane perforation, cholesteatoma, Otosclerosis, glue ear etc.

  • ENDOSCOPIC SINUS SURGERY (ESS)

Endoscopic sinus surgery is a surgical procedure designed to relieve blockage & improve drainage of the sinuses and improve airflow through the nose. This surgery is done using rigid thin endoscope and specialized powered instruments to effectively remove causes of sinus blockage. This technique is used to treat Sinusitis, Nasal polyps, deviated nasal septum (DNS), hypertrophied turbinates etc.

  • ENDOSCOPIC ORBITAL SURGERY

Using transnasal approach, endoscope is also used to treat various pathologies affecting eye like nasolacrimal duct (NLD) blockage, orbital tumors etc. Transnasal endoscopic approach avoids external facial incisions and related complications. The most common procedure performed is endoscopic dacrocystorhinostomy (Endo DCR) to relieve NLD blockage.

  • ENDOSCOPIC SKULL BASE SURGERY

With the development of endoscope technology and endoscopic surgery, resection of anterior skull base tumors has been achieved using endoscopic endonasal route. This is a minimally invasive surgical approach to the skull base that was refined and is performed at Nova ENT hospital by a multidisciplinary surgical team to remove skull base brain tumors and lesions through the nose.Common surgeries performed are endoscopic pituitary surgery, CSF leak repair, skull base tumors, etc.

  • ENDOSCOPIC LARYNGEAL SURGERY

This unique approach is developed at Nova ENT hospital to treat laryngeal pathologies like vocal cord cyst, vc polyps, vc nodules, laryngeal papilloma, laryngeal cancer, etc. This surgery is done without any need of laryngeal suspension and thus avoiding any post-operative discomfort to patients.

  • COBLATION & LASER SURGERY

Coblation, which stands for controlled ablation, involves radiofrequency at a low temperature and uses a saline solution to gently and precisely remove the tissues. As a result, the risk of injury to surrounding tissue is much lower. Our hospital is fully equipped in performing these kinds of surgeries and it is mainly used during adeno-tonsillectomy, sleep & snoring surgeries, endoscopic sinus surgery etc.

  • HEAD & NECK SURGERY

Head and neck cancers include cancers of the mouth (such as lip and tongue), the pharynx or throat and the larynx or voice box. At NOVA ENT hospital, our physicians are committed to preserving quality of life while maximizing efforts to defeat cancer.

  • Tracheal Stenosis & Airway reconstruction Surgery

    Treatment of Tracheal Stenosis:

Tracheal stenosis is a narrowing of the windpipe that can occur after radiation therapy, prolonged use of a breathing tube, or other procedures.

  • Latest Snoring Surgery

    Polysomnography (sleep study)

Polysomnography, also called as sleep study, is a test used to diagnose sleep disorders. It records your brain waves, oxygen levels in your blood, heart rate and breathing, as well as eye and leg movements during the study.

  • BALLOON SINUPLASTY

Balloon Sinuplasty (BSP) is a safe and effective sinus procedure for chronic sinusitis patients seeking relief from uncomfortable sinus pain symptoms. It is less invasive than traditional surgery with minimal bleeding and low post-op pain.
